This is a tattoo I saw on fuckyeahtattoo a while back. Okay, so I like the handwriting style and the brushstrokes of this one. I want it to say “Soleil” and I’d like to incorporate her birthday (March 19, 2010) in it somewhere. I think it’d be cool if the date were a small part of one of the brushstrokes, so that it doesn’t really stand out. I tend to like to do my dates like day/month/year (19 March 2010), but maybe it’d look better to just use numbers (3/19/2010). I’d also like to keep the sunburst, since “soleil” means sun, but I think I’d like to maybe have the sunburst be incorporated into the letter “o.”
Is it horrible to copy someone’s tattoo? I don’t really feel like this is copying, but more like inspiration.
